Terms and Conditions — AeroSigil

Welcome to AeroSigil. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AeroSigil platform, website (aerosigil.com), mobile applications, and associated services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to all terms and conditions, you must not access or use the Platform.
1. Platform Overview & Nature of Service
AeroSigil is an online technology directory and peer-to-peer communications marketplace that connects community members for the purposes of hiring independent skilled workers, discovering local services, renting equipment and vehicles, arranging shared community rides, and buying or selling second-hand goods through classified advertisements.
AeroSigil acts solely as a venue and communications platform. AeroSigil is not a party to any contract, service agreement, rental contract, or transaction entered into between users. AeroSigil does not employ, endorse, certify, or guarantee any service provider, contractor, buyer, seller, or equipment owner. Users engage with one another entirely at their own risk and are solely responsible for conducting appropriate vetting, background checks, licensing verifications, and insurance verifications.
2. User Eligibility & Account Security
You must be at least 18 years of age to register for an account or publish listings on AeroSigil. By registering, you warrant and represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts and that all registration information you submit is accurate, current, and truthful.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify AeroSigil immediately at [email protected] upon suspecting any unauthorized access to or breach of your account.
3. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use the Platform to engage in any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive conduct. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Publishing false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive listings, ratings, or profile information.
- Offering illegal goods, stolen property, controlled substances, firearms, weapons, counterfeit items, or adult/explicit services.
- Engaging in harassment, hate speech, threats, intimidation, discrimination, or stalking of other community members.
- Attempting to scrape, spider, or harvest platform data, contact details, or user listings through automated means without written consent.
- Injecting viruses, worms, malware, or destructive code into the Platform or attempting to bypass security infrastructure.
- Impersonating any person, business entity, or AeroSigil representative.
4. Peer-to-Peer Transactions, Payments & Disclaimers
All financial negotiations, milestone agreements, pricing structures, and payment disbursements occur directly between the client and the service provider or between the buyer and the seller. AeroSigil does not collect platform commissions on transactions.
AeroSigil makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the quality, safety, legality, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose of any service performed, item sold, or equipment rented through the Platform. AeroSigil does not guarantee that a provider possesses valid trade licenses, insurance, or certifications, and users must independently verify credentials prior to hiring.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights in the AeroSigil platform, brand, logos, designs, text, and software code are the property of AeroSigil or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.
By posting content (photos, descriptions, reviews) to AeroSigil, you grant AeroSigil a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating and marketing the Platform.
6. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AeroSigil, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, property damage, bodily injury, personal injury, or emotional distress arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or your interactions with other users.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AeroSigil and its affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your use of the Platform, or your interactions with any third party.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with prevailing laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, followed by binding arbitration if necessary.
8. Changes to Terms
AeroSigil reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
